Who can be a
Project Holder?
HPI projects are implemented by Project Holders, such
as agricultural service cooperatives, local NGOs, associations of
agricultural producers, or other organizations, which represent rural
communities. Project Holders act on the basis of the Commission Contract
for Project Implementation.
Who can receive help from HPI?
Help from HPI can receive needy rural families,
regardless of their religious and ethnic heritage, which are selected by
a community at the general meeting. Usually these are families with many
children, poor families, which are capable to provide appropriate care
and feeding to animals, and observe HPI’s Cornerstones and terms of
participation in the project. In addition, HPI provides help to:
-
urban families, whose main
source of income is urban agriculture;
-
orphanages’ residents:
orphans, children whose parents are deprived of their parents’
rights, and other types of youth at risk;
-
families, which suffered from
natural or man-made disasters.
